Dr. Vilayvanh Saysoukha was born in Nashville and grew up in Smyrna, TN. She is a first generation Lao American and the first in her family to go to college. She graduated from Smyrna High School with many honors and was awarded several local scholarships, such as The Yates Services LLC Scholarship, The Bridgestone Scholarship, and was one of the original recipients of TN Hope Scholarship where she was featured in TV and radio commercials. Because of these scholarships, she was able to attend The University of Memphis where she obtained her B.S. in Biology with Honors with a concentration in pre-medicine and a minor in Latin. She then moved to south FL where she obtained both her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Dr. Saysoukha completed her Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added certification in Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, FL. She furthered her training by completing a mini fellowship in Dermatopathology of the lower extremity in Alpharetta, Georgia with Bako Diagnostics.

Staying up-to-date with treatment options and surgical innovation is paramount in being able to offer patient-centered care. Dr. Saysoukha takes pride in being one of the only surgeons in middle TN to perform minimally invasive bunion and foot and ankle surgery. She also has a special interest in foot and ankle deformity correction, Charcot foot and ankle, limb salvage, foot and ankle fractures, sports medicine and injuries, and treating children, teens and adults. Dr. Saysoukha is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine, an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Saysoukha is also an active member of the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Saysoukha values family time with her supportive and loving spouse, bonus son and three dogs. She enjoys outdoor activities, such as kayaking and hiking, and loves to play her guitar, sing and write songs. She believes that feet are the foundation to a healthy and happy life and looks forward to serving the community one foot at a time.

Dr. JennaLouise Hollnagel-Kauffman - DPM, FACFAS, CWS

Dr. JennaLou Hollnagel-Kauffman was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida, majoring in Pre-professional Botany. Throughout childhood and into college, Dr. Kauffman was a competitive equestrian rider and trainer. To pursue her passion for science and sports medicine, she worked in the Cancer and Genetics Research Center for the University of Florida and for the Florida Gators Football team.

Dr. Kauffman decided to stay in her home state and attend Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in the top 10 percent of her class. She completed residency at Bethesda Health System in Boynton Beach, FL where she was trained by renowned Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Hollnagel-Kauffman received extensive training in the care of conditions involving the Foot, Ankle and Lower Leg, including Elective, Traumatic and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle surgery. She served as Chief Resident during her residency training, having developed a special interest in Peripheral Neuropathy and Peripheral Nerve Surgery. Dr. Kauffman has performed hundreds of successful Nerve Decompression procedures to help treat nerve pain and drop foot deformity.

Dr. Kauffman is a Board Certified Podiatrist and Surgeon. She can treat all types of deformities through advanced surgical techniques. She is also a Board Certified Wound Care Specialist and has her Certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Medicine. Dr. Kauffman has won awards for Limb Salvage during her time in Advanced Wound Care Centers, including Center of Distinction and the Presidents Award. She also specializes in Regenerative Medicine including restoration of foot cushion from fat pad atrophy, botox injections for foot pain and lower extremity deformities, treatment of tendonitis without the use of steroids, treatment of varicose veins as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Hollnagel- Kauffman has a love for teaching. She has offered a Surgical Podiatric and Wound Care rotation, working with Residents and Medical students. She has also given lectures during the Resident Didactic meetings and helped residents with research posters for their graduation.

Although trained in the most intricate and involved surgical procedures of the lower extremity, it is important for Dr. Kauffman to attempt conservative treatment options first, using surgery only as a last resort. Every patient has a unique set of circumstance that requires individualized treatment to get her patients to return to their desired lifestyle. Dr. Kauffman strives to make sure that her patients are educated about the treatment options that would be the best for their specific condition. Dr. Hollnagel-Kauffman believes education is the key to great outcome because every condition and circumstance is unique.

When she is not treating patients and teaching, JennaLou enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs. Dr. Kauffman also enjoys health and fitness, before becoming a doctor she was a Certified Personal Trainer and participated in fitness competitions during medical school. Being a Florida girl, she also loves the beach, swimming, fishing, scuba diving and equestrian riding.

Reilly Munson - MMS, PA-C

Reilly Munson MMS, PA-C Reilly Munson, a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant, grew up in Granville. OH, where she enjoyed playing competitive soccer. She attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN for her undergraduate studies in Biology. There, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree, laying a strong foundation for her future healthcare career. While attending Butler University, Reilly completed a board-certified Emergency Medical Technician training program earning the credentials EMT-B. She was employed with Physicians Ambulance Service for 2 years where she worked collaboratively with emergency services personnel in responding to dispatched calls to provide pre-hospital urgent care and patient transport.

In the summer of 2019, Reilly was a fellow for The Atlantis Project living in Budapest, Hungary where she gained 200+ hours of pre-medical shadowing within multiple specialties and a multi-country program. When Reilly returned from Budapest she partnered with Dr. Jennifer N. Berry to research behavioral neuroscience at Butler University. She focused on the neurobiological mechanics involved in the development of substance abuse and dependence using in vivo rodent models. She investigated receptor systems (ie., nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, and stress hormone receptors) that may be targeted in the treatment of substance dependence.

Reilly was also a member of the organization Kappa Alpha Theta where she was elected on the board committee and nominated as Fundraising Chair. She organized philanthropic events for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)- an organization of volunteers that provides kids "a voice in court" for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Reilly then pursued her passion for patient care by attending graduate school at Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, TN. There, she earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2023. While in physician assistant school she held a position on the Student Government Association as Outreach Chair. In this position, she organized a charitable golf tournament with South College Physician Assistant Program and The Knoxville Dream Center raising over $20,000 for the underserved population in Knoxville, TN.

While in physician assistant school Reilly earned her Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Certifications through the American Heart Association. She is now a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA). She began working with Dr. Saysoukha at Premier Foot and Ankle Centers of Tennessee in 2024 after she completed a rotation with her in physician assistant school. She enjoys working alongside Dr. Saysoukha as she creates an exceptional educational environment regarding foot and ankle complications including diabetic foot ulcers, osteomyelitis, Charcot foot and ankle. foot and ankle fractures and minimally invasive bunion and foot and ankle surgery. While working with Dr. Saysoukha, she participated in clinical and surgical training demonstrating proficient suturing techniques, casting, splinting, external fixation device application, skin substitute graft application and wound debridement. With her extensive educational background and commitment to providing exceptional care, Reilly is ecstatic to be a part of the Premier Foot and Ankle Centers of Tennessee team! Reilly decided to continue her education and was accepted into the Doctorate of Medical Sciences program at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. Here she will learn a new set of advanced medical skills and knowledge base. This program is designed to offer physician assistants educational expertise to design and deliver high-quality education to future clinicians. Reilly enjoys spending time with her husband and their family when not working or studying for her doctorate degree. Reilly is very plugged into her church community and is passionate about her faith. She enjoys authentic cuisine whether it be a home cooked meal or one of the many fantastic restaurants in town. She enjoys collecting tropical plants, traveling, and great coffee! Reilly is excited "toe" meet you and ready to put her best foot forward to get you back on your feet!.
